THE DOCTORS’ SUPPORT NETWORK AGM, 2010

The Annual General Meeting for the Doctors' Support Network will be held in Birmingham on Saturday 13th November 2010 at 1.30 pm, in the Lower Meeting Room of Carrs Lane Church Centre. Carrs Lane, Birmingham B4 7SX, Tel (0121) 643 6151

All Members, Student Members and Associate Members are welcome.  

 We have a very exciting speaker to announce, Dr Clare Gerada, MBE, MRCPsych, FRCGP, who as both a trained psychiatrist and practising GP,  is Medical Director of the Government funded Practitioner Health Programme which has been so successful in London at helping doctors with  health problems to recover and to get back to work.  She has kindly agreed to attend our AGM to talk about this exciting project and her hopes for expanding the service nationwide.   Please come to listen to her talk about her work.     Dr Gerada is Chair- Elect for the Royal College of General Practice, and will hold the post for three years.

The venue is Carrs Lane Church Centre and  is in  a convenient central area close to New Street Station and in easy walking distance and opposite Moor Street Station.  There are also NCP carparks nearby.
